Thank you for
your interest in Alliance Hospice. Government funding
only
covers a portion of our operating costs; it is through donations
from private funding that we are able to continue providing compassionate
and comforting care to people living with a life-threatening illness
and their loved ones.
Until all of
our name change processes are completed, we continue to operation
for tax purposes under Bayview Community
Hospice. Our charitable registration number
is BN 13284 3988 RR 0001.
You
can donate two different ways:
1. Online

CanadaHelps.org
is a not-for-profit charity portal that provides an online giving
service to registered charities. When you make a donation to Alliance Hospice via CanadaHelps, the hospice receives 97% of the
donation. CanadaHelps retains 3% to cover the cost, including the
credit card fee charged to CanadaHelps by your financial institution.
This method is less expensive than if Alliance was to process
the transaction internally, so more of your donation goes to support
the work of the hospice.
Within minutes of making a donation, you will receive an electronic
tax receipt mailed to the email address you provided in the donation
process. You can save and print this receipt at any time to use
for income tax purposes. Because CanadaHelps.org is a charity (Charitable
Business Number 896568417RR0001), you will be receipted for your
donation by CanadaHelps.org.
2.
By cheque or money order
Send a cheque or money order, payable to Alliance Hospice,
to our address.
A
charitable receipt for income tax purposes will be issued for
all onations
of $20 or more.
